The Four Peaks Rotary Foundation of Fountain Hills is pleased to announce the election of its officers for the current fiscal year:  President Gil Miller, Secretary Sue Hendershott and Treasurer Tim Taylor. 

 

Four Peaks Rotary Foundation is a local 501-c-3 charity that provides grants to local and international charities and other tax-exempt organizations.  This year the approved budget provides over $40,000 to nearly thirty recipients including Extended Hands Food Bank, three veterans causes, four international causes including a senior home for street people,  an orphanage in Mexico, a school in Haiti and an international grant through Rotary International totaling nearly $400,000 for potable water to the Navajo Nation.  The Navajo Nation grant provides nearly 60 homes with permanent water systems and 285 additional houses with 250-gallon potable water tanks to help with cleanliness during the pandemic on the reservation. More than 16,000 dwelling on the reservation do not have running water.
