Jimmy Curtis (February) and Colleen Jacobson (March) were named Four Peaks Rotary Club's Teachers of the Month. Both received a certificate along with a $275 monetary award.

Jimmy Curtis is February Teacher of the Month

Jimmy Curtis (far left), Special Education Department Chair at Fountain Hills Middle School, was named February Teacher of the Month. He was nominated by Jeff Markle, Principal, and Rich Dellacona, Dean of Students, for being a positive, passionate and dedicated professional who has been "instrumental in helping students and families navigate the online and in-person learning platforms while also servicing their needs."
 
He received his certificate in person at the February 25 meeting from Michelle Webb and Scott Sommer.
 

Colleen Jacobson is March Teacher of the Month

Colleen Jacobson, Special Education Team Lead at Fountain Hills High School, was named March Teacher of the Month.
 
Jacobson was nominated by Principal Kris Alexander for her outstanding job of preparing her students to think critically and engage in her lessons. "She is an immensely positive influence on our campus," Alexander said. "Colleen pours her heart and soul into her students. We are delighted for her to receive this well-deserved recognition."
